Diclofenac Na 50 mg, thiamine nitrate 50 mg, pyridoxol HCl 50 mg, vit B12 1 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of moderate to severe pain associated w/ neuritis &/or neuralgia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
3 tab/day on the 1st day then 2 tab/day in divided doses w/ shortest possible duration.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Preferably taken after meals. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Polycythemia vera, early stages of Leber's disease (hereditary atrophy of the optic nerve), gastroduodenal/peptic ulcer. Patients in whom episodes of bronchial asthma, utricaria or rhinitis are triggered by ASA or its derivatives, ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, CV disease, CHF.
Special Precautions
Dehydrated patients. Kidney, liver & heart function disturbances, GIT ulcer or bleeding. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, anorexia, water retention; dizziness, confusion, headache, fatigue.
Drug Interactions
Levodopa, phenobarb, phenytoin, cycloserine, hydralazine, penicillamine, cyclosporin. Reduced vit B12 absorption by co-administration of aminoglycoside, colchicines, prolonged-release K-based products, aminosalicylic acid, anticonvulsants, cobalt, alcohol & ascorbic acid. Prednisone. Chloramphenicol. Plasma elevations of lithium-based products, digoxin, MTX & NSAIDs.
